Stoneware mug hand-thrown by Maria Cabrera, a Colombian ceramicist based in north London, before being dipped in a matt white glaze to create a geometric overlapping pattern. Maria draws inspiration from the simplicity of Japanese pottery, having spent six months in Nagaoya studying glazing techniques. Due to the handmade nature of this piece, each varies slightly in shape and colour.
