This time last week,a group of like-minded women travelled to Loveland Farm in North Devon, to spend a weekend camping beneath the stars. Sisterhood with TOAST was dreamt up by Bristol based lifestyle blogger Lou Archell. A venture designed to re-connect with the outdoors, share stories, passions and skills...

Being a blogger, my job is to create beautiful content to share on social media, it is laughable, as I feel it is anything but social'. Sitting at my kitchen table most days, tapping away on my laptop, I needed to connect, to reach out to people and get back to nature.
Taking part were twenty-five women, most of whom I had met at blogging events over the years. We had only ever had a few hours of rushed conversation before running to catch trains and heading back to our families. There was never enough time to connect.
Now, they were here, atLovelandFarmwith a weekend stretching out before us, sharing the secrets of our past and planning collaborations in our future.

During the weekend we were treated to many workshops;yoga, shibori, leather craft, flower crown making - delicious food and sunshine. Yes the sun shone!

Saturday evening as the dusk fell and the rain set in, we gathered in the large pod. A beautiful space styled by the talentedHannah Bullivant.Festoons oflights, draped linen and jars of greenery decorated the tables. A delicious moroccan feast was served byTwoBirds Kitchen and there we sat until the wee hours, talking, laughing and making memories.

This weekend exceeded any expectation I may of had. My mind is brimming with ideas and most of all I have made true friends with these brilliant, creative and talented women.
Sisterhood - to support, nurture and share creativity. The antithesis of the everyday competitive world.
