For our most recent Styling Conversations, we share a considered curation of key pieces from the SS21 collection.

Taking cloth pairings and summer trousers from the April range, our Head of Buying Nikki Sher discusses how best to wear and layer each summer look. With a considered approach to colour and texture and using a range of garments from the collection, the outfits presented are versatile, working to a range of proportions and silhouettes.

From pairing separates and bold pops of colour, to summer trousers and versatile dresses, our latest Styling Conversations aims to provide interactive guidance and tips, giving viewers the confidence to invent unique, comfortable and creative combinations for everyday wear.

Join Nikki as she talks through each outfit with our in-house stylist, Cat Yarwood and Mayfair Shop manager, Paula Ellis.

Find all of the outfits from our virtual Styling Conversations on our Curated Edit Page.

Love this latest film and as another petite person going to reiterate the previous comments.Have been a fan of Toast since the start and feel a petite collection is long overdue. There have been many requests in the reviews of the clothing for smaller versions but so far no response on this matter. Please Toast can you post some feedback to your customers on this through these links so we know if we can keep this dream alive. Here’s hoping….

I shall be Susan’s echo, please can you produce a range of clothes especially trousers and pinafores for the petite amongst us? A shorter leg length and shorter body length would be a godsend for in your classic pieces or perhaps as Susan suggests a podcast which would show me which trousers, pinafores and fabulous gathered skirts in your summer range would suit me at only 1m54 ! (same height as you Susan !) I enjoy layering, but at this height too much volume or bulk tends to give me width rather than accentuate my height Thank you

Again, really enjoyed watching this Spring/Summer film and love the shorts. However, as I also don’t like showing my knees, I wonder whether you would consider just-below-the-knee length shorts. They don’t seem to be available anywhere and, in my opinion, offer a different option to culottes.

I have been a fan of Toast since the release of the first fold up brochure when you sold a limited range and wonderful jam! Still a fan of your designs but have always struggled with sizing due to being 5ft 1in. I design and sew myself so I can shorten but petite sizing is more complicated than that. I have requested the possibility of a petite range in the past (not just tiny sizes) but shorter in the body, sleeve length etc. Everything falls in the wrong place if your short which greatly limits my options in your ranges. Also some years ago you used to use a variety of models, please could you consider using shorter models, older models, fuller figured models, models with breasts, we are all different! Please give a broader view of how your clothes fit. All that withstanding, I love your clothes and my husband is still waiting for the mans range to come back……his 20 year old shirts are starting to show signs of wear! 😂 x
