For our most recent Styling Conversations, we share key pieces from our Summer collection, Open Water. Relaxed combinations feature breezy silhouettes and modern patterns, with driftwood, clay and shell shades on a base of inky blue and brown ochre.
Presenting her favourite pieces, Nikki Sher, our Head of Product, discusses how she would wear each look. Demonstrating a considered approach to colour and texture and using a range of garments from the collection, the outfits presented are versatile, with varied proportions and silhouettes.
From embroidered separates and tie-dye dresses to lightweight layers and denim trousers, Nikki provides guidance and tips, giving you the confidence to try unique, comfortable and creative combinations for everyday wear.
Join her as she talks through each outfit, alongside Shelena Dawood from our Brighton shop, Bee Gregson from our Marlow shop, and Evie Mitchell, our Live Content Manager.
Nikki wears our Dip Dye Silk Dress in Bright Tangerine, which is also available in Grass Green. It’s crafted from gently crinkled silk panels which are artfully hand dip-dyed by artisans in India, complementing the fluid silhouette.
Key pieces include our Sea Kelp Organic Cotton Skirt – hand screen-printed with a pattern inspired by the undulating movements of sea kelp – and our Coral Embroidered Cotton Top and matching skirt. Nikki also shares our latest ikat pieces, created by weavers working under master artisan Bikshapati Kolaan in the village of Yellanki in Andhra Pradesh. The cotton yarns are carefully bound and dyed to create the pattern, then handwoven to create a soft fabric. For accessories, there is the Guanabana Toquilla Basket Bag, woven in Colombia with an open pattern, alongside sandals from Sturlini, Birkenstock and Fracap.
